As Gold Sponsors of the 2021 IVT conference, our CEO Chris Acheson was delighted to be asked to open this year’s event.
Taking place online this year, the IVT Expo and Conference launched in 2020 and is run by trade publisher IVT International. It’s a unique event – when taking place ‘in the flesh’, it features no full vehicles, focusing strictly on the components, services, suppliers and technologies across the globe creating the next generation of industrial vehicles.
In his welcome message, Chris said he was sure he was “not the only one who will miss the buzz of the real show and the face to face interactions” but assured delegates that “IVT have curated a fantastic agenda and programme and a diverse array of speakers” that he looked forward to listening to.
Attendees had the opportunity to download case studies for two of our most successful industrial vehicle customers, Bergmann Dumpers and CDE.

Some talks we particularly enjoyed across the 2-day event included New dimensions in industrial HMI and how to apply them by Sebastian Lorenz and Jens Krzywinski of Technische Universität Dresden, Between technology and interaction design delivered by Marcus Wallmyr from CrossControl AB, and the interesting panel discussion on day one entitled Innovations in cab design and HMI.
